Air Liquide is a world leader in gases, technologies and services for industry and health. Present in 60 countries with 66 300 employees, the Group serves more than 4 million customers and patients. Oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen are small molecules essential to life, matter and energy. They embody Air Liquide's scientific territory and have been at the heart of the Group's business since its creation in 1902.
Air Liquide's ambition is to be a leader in its industry, to perform well over the long term and to contribute to a more sustainable world - with a strong commitment to climate change and energy transition at the heart of its strategy.
Contexte
Climate change and consumer awareness are now key drivers in global commerce. This is complicated by geopolitical changes and economic shifts, demanding a stable, sustainable transition. The move to a low-carbon economy requires balancing aggressive decarbonization with energy security, accelerated by large-scale carbon capture, hydrogen, and efficient thermal processes.
You will help integrate this multifaceted Energy Transition into our long-term commercial strategy, considering climate needs and macroeconomic shifts.
Air Liquide provides foundational elements for a resilient future, from high-purity Oxygen for hard-to-abate sectors (metal, glass, cement) to powering global battery "gigafactory" supply chains, expanding services to meet transitional demands.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
As part of the Global Marketing team, you will contribute to the following:
Strategic Market Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive analysis on the energy market, focusing on the impact of geopolitical shifts on supply chains and the evolution of energy prices for hard-to-abate sectors.
Stakeholder Synthesis: Engage with internal experts and external strategic partners to co-create integrated market assessments for gas applications, specifically targeting the hydrogen economy and the decarbonization of the "Oxygen path" (Metal, Glass, Cement).
Strategic Briefing: Prepare high-level briefs and decision-support presentations that evaluate the economic viability of new low-carbon initiatives in a volatile market.
Value Proposition Development: Support the creation of marketing materials that highlight Air Liquide’s role in energy sovereignty and localized battery production (Gigafactories).
Innovation Scouting: Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and best practices in carbon capture, storage (CCS), and high-efficiency thermal processes to maintain our technological lead.
Regulatory & Policy Monitoring: Actively monitor international climate regulations (such as CBAM in Europe) and technological standards in the mobility and heavy industry sectors.
