The Opportunity:

CACI has an immediate opportunity for a Training Specialist to join our team in Fort Washington, MD.

Our Training Specialist is an individual contributor with the ability to multi-task and work independently to provide specialized training support of program operations.

Responsible for providing administrative and coordination support services for training events/initiatives.  Duties may include planning, organizing, and coordinating arrangements for training events and courses, to include announcements, enrollments, logistics, production of materials, surveys, and post-event wrap-up. Duties may also include management and administration of learning management systems.

Responsibilities:
Training Specialist is a key contributor, directly supporting training functions for the ITC through the following functions:

  • Manage requirements with Federal and Government agencies pertaining to course schedules and registration requirements.
  • Exhibit critical-thinking and problem-solving skills while collaborating with internal and external customers.
  • Update and maintain the fiscal year course schedule and support the coordination/execution of ITC courses.  Maintain database of visitors and activities and produce usage statistics and data as requested.  Prepare and ensure compliance with site standard operating procedures for facilities.
  • Coordinate execution of facility maintenance requirements.
  • Facilitate activities with management and security personnel.
  • Prepare and distribute student/instructor binders and ensure proper student documentation and accountability of equipment.
  • Organize the classroom prior to each class in coordination with instructors.
  • Control the scheduling database and resolve scheduling conflicts with user groups/agencies.
  • Development of procurement packages by Government personnel, to include Market Research for required products that may be used in the duration of the contract.
  • Manage inventory of required stocks of consumable items required for daily functioning.
  • Present/promote ideas and initiatives for process improvement, project management, data/information management, teaming, and time management.
  • Manage database for clearance vetting, process clearance verification, and issue visitor badges for authorized visitors at the appropriate access levels.
  • Verify IC security badge requirements, level of holders, and Access Roster data.
  • Manage the student registration process for each course and ensure that each student meets all requirements and prerequisites to attend the course.
  • Provide student oversight and influence through briefing and enforcing ITC policies and practices.
  • Collaborate with instructors and government officials on the development and revision of course descriptions and materials.
  • Ensure proper distribution of student/instructor workbooks, course materials, nameplates, course certificates, and all correspondence involving ITC courses.
  • Brief students prior to course instruction to ensure compliance of training policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and updates of student records, grades, and critiques within the training database.
  • Provide direction to students to ensure complete understanding of reporting responsibilities.


Qualifications:

Required: 

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

A minimum of three years of experience in office administration

A University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.

Individual shall possess skills in the Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$54,200 - $111,000
