The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled staff engineer to join us as a founding member for a new product launching later this year. This role focuses on building out the components to power the next generation AI-Native application workflows in a fast paced development environment. It demands partnering in product decisions and owning complete end to end workflows including quality of service.

What You’ll Do

• Build ingestion pipelines for both structured and unstructured data sources
• Wire up integrations over REST & MCP
• Develop agents using latest models
• Eval agents for precision, recall and accuracy
• Build components with 4 9s availability `
• Translate customer requirements into delightful feature implementations 

What You Need to Succeed

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Proficiency in core computer science fundamentals. 
• 10+ years of product development and design
• Proven record in building out high throughput & low-latency applications
• Proven record as a self starter
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; can effectively articulate complex ideas and influence others through well-reasoned explanations.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. 
• Experience with CI/CD technologies
• Proficiency with any of the cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $159,200 -- $301,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

 

In California, the pay range for this position is $208,300 - $301,600

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
