The Product Owner will support ownership of the roadmap and value realization for agent‑driven solutions across Fund Accounting, Middle Office, Transfer Agency, and Custody, contributing to measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and control while adhering to regulatory, audit, and data governance expectations.

This is a hands‑on product role requiring strong execution discipline, close partnership with senior Product Owners, business, and technology teams, and accountability for defined outcomes within an agreed scope..

The Product Owner is part of a cross‑functional POD responsible for conceiving, delivering, and scaling agentic AI solutions across core business services including Fund Accounting, Middle Office, Transfer Agency, and Custody.

The role contributes to product strategy, roadmap execution, prioritization, and value delivery of agent‑based automation, ensuring solutions deliver operational impact while complying with enterprise risk, compliance, and governance standards.

Success in this role requires the ability to balance automation ambition with operational risk, and to design solutions where controls, auditability, and explainability are embedded from the outset.

• Support definition and articulation of product vision for agentic AI use cases across assigned operational domains.

• Develop working knowledge of end‑to‑end operational processes across Fund Accounting, Middle Office, Transfer Agency, or Custody.

• Identify and assess opportunities where agent‑based automation can improve accuracy, cycle time, and control effectiveness.

• Execute product roadmaps aligned to business priorities, regulatory expectations, and enterprise AI risk frameworks.

• Translate simplification goals into user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable success indicators.

• Act as a proxy for the business in agile delivery, maintaining a prioritized backlog of product increments.

• Participate in agile execution with a focus on incremental delivery, learning, and operational readiness.

• Support the lifecycle of agentic AI solutions including problem definition, data grounding, workflow integration, approval design, and rollout.

• Ensure controls, auditability, and evidence capture are incorporated into solution design.

• Apply guidance on materiality thresholds, escalation paths, and failure handling for semi‑autonomous execution.

• Monitor agent performance post‑deployment, escalating issues related to accuracy, drift, or control breaches.

• Partner with operations SMEs, risk, data, and engineering teams to validate acceptance criteria and readiness.

• Track KPIs tied to efficiency, quality, and cycle time; support value reporting.

• Communicate delivery progress, risks, and dependencies to senior Product Owners and stakeholders.

SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES
• Solid product management fundamentals including backlog management, prioritization, and stakeholder engagement.

• Sound judgment with awareness of automation risk, regulatory expectations, and user trust considerations.

• Experience working within cross‑functional agile PODs.

• Clear communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non‑technical partners.

• Domain knowledge in one operational area (Fund Accounting, Middle Office, Transfer Agency, or Custody) or strong learning agility.

• Working knowledge of prompt engineering concepts and AI risk considerations.

• Ability to interpret basic agent performance signals and operational metrics.

• Awareness of AI monitoring, escalation, and human‑in‑the‑loop patterns.

• Understanding of data governance fundamentals including data quality and stewardship.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 4–6 years of experience in product, change, or automation roles within regulated operational environments.

• Experience in financial services operations preferred.

• Exposure to automation, AI, or digital transformation initiatives.

• Experience working with technology, data, and risk partners.
