Job Description:

Medical Information Specialist (100%)

Zug, Switzerland – Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine

At Johnson & Johnson, we believe health is everything. As part of our Medical Affairs team, you will play a meaningful role in bringing accurate, clear, and trusted scientific information to the people who rely on it most—patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.

We are looking for a Medical Information Specialist who is energized by science, driven by purpose, and inspired by collaboration. If you thrive in a dynamic environment where curiosity and compassion meet scientific excellence, this role is for you.

Your Impact

In this role, you will ensure that every medical or scientific inquiry is met with high‑quality, timely, and compliant information. You will be a key connector across our Swiss organization—linking Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, and our Customer Service Center.

You will:

  • Respond to medical and scientific inquiries from healthcare professionals and patients, including through our Medical Information Line during office hours

  • Ensure correct triage and documentation of written requests and inquiries in internal systems

  • Manage internal scientific resources, data repositories, and databases to maintain high‑quality, up‑to‑date information

  • Collaborate with Pharmacovigilance to document and forward adverse events and product complaints

  • Provide medical review for our established brand portfolio and contribute to Core Value Team meetings in close partnership with Regulatory Affairs

  • Conduct evidence searches and support KVV71 evaluations for established brand products

  • Support the approval of promotional materials in line with AWV, HMG, and Pharmakodex requirements

  • Deliver training to Janssen colleagues on Medical Information processes, SOPs, and customer request handling

Every interaction you support helps strengthen trust in our medicines and in J\&J’s commitment to putting patients first.

What You Bring

You are someone who combines scientific expertise with empathy and clarity. You enjoy connecting dots, solving problems, and contributing to cross‑functional success.

Your qualifications include:

  • University/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field

  • 2–4 years of experience in a scientific, medical, or pharmaceutical environment

  • Strong communication, influencing, and networking skills with a customer‑centric mindset

  • High learning agility, openness to change, and ability to collaborate in a matrix environment

  • Fluency in German, English and French

  • Commitment to compliant behavior aligned with J\&J guidelines, our Credo, and local laws

Why Join Us?

At Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, you’ll be part of a purpose‑driven, high‑performing team that believes in creating a future where disease is a thing of the past. We champion diversity, nurture growth, and empower you to bring your whole self to work.

Here, your contributions directly shape the quality of medical information delivered across Switzerland—supporting safer, more informed healthcare decisions every day.

This is an office‑based role in Zug with a 100% workload.
