Job Description Summary

As a Regional Distribution Lead (Senior Services Manager 3) you will be a pivotal force in driving sustained customer success and growth within the post-sales project lifecycle. Your expertise will span training, professional services, technical support, renewals, outcome attainment, retention, expansion, and customer advocacy—all with a strong digital focus. Requiring high level of operational judgement, the expectation for this role is moderate autonomy.

Job Description

What you'll do:

  • Leadership and Mentorship
    • Overseeing the MENAT and Europe Distribution Series 3 cross functional distribution team, ensuring harmony across personalities and skillsets.
    • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
    • Provide high level support for all region Distribution projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.
    • Explains difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus.
    • Develop persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.

  • Project Lifecycle Ownership:
    • Contribute to the implementation of MES (Multi-Energy-Systems) solutions using our Software Suite.
    • Own technical deliverables throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring projects stay on track in terms of budget, time, and customer expectations.
    • Help to layout proper staffing to cover all regional ADMS S3 deliveries to ensure all projects are successful.

  • Client Collaboration:
    • Work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and develop tailored strategies through site assessments.
    • Make standard recommendations on workflow, application, interface, reports, testing, and uploads to customers during the implementation process.
    • Ensure go-live readiness and provide support, including post-live checkups, to guarantee customer satisfaction.

  • Best Practice and Quality Assurance:
    • Develop specialized knowledge in your discipline and serve as a best practice/quality resource.
    • Stay abreast of the latest technical developments in your area and contribute to strategy and policy development.
    • Ensure delivery excellence within your area of responsibility.
  • Market Awareness and Integration:
    • Possess in-depth knowledge of best practices and understand how your area integrates with others.
    • Have a working knowledge of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
  • Decision-Making and Problem solving:
    • Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering.
    • Take a new perspective on existing solutions and use technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
    • Utilize multiple internal and limited external sources outside of your own function to arrive at decisions. 
  • Leadership and Mentorship
    • Ability to work across all GEV silos with a OneTeam mentality.
    • Ability to grow and mentor all staff understanding that not everyone learns and grows the same ways.
    • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
    • Explains difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus.
    • Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.

What you'll bring:

  • Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
  • Min 10 years in GEV Series 3 grid software Distribution delivery .
  • Good technical knowledge of Power System, Protection and Automation systems, Monitoring and Diagnostics and telecommunications Applications for Transmission, Distribution and Industry segments.
  • Previous experience in leading high performing teams.
  • Ability to work effectively across functions and regions.
  • Ability to understand and improve complex processes in a cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to manages multiple ongoing projects and work to prioritize work between them all.
  • Track record of on time successful deliveries across GEV customer base.

  • Fluency in Arabic is a plus
