Job Summary:
A Policy Services Operations Coordinator is overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the policy services department and all aspects of customer service. This role involves, handling administrative tasks and working closely with various departments to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

Handles administrative duties as processing any changes or other policy -related modifications, including but not limited to, invoicing, refunds, cancellations, mailing, call center scheduling, call quality control and training.
Ensure both client and internal projects are completed on time.
Ensure call center staff have daily coverage
Identifies inefficiencies in current processes and develops strategies for improvement, implementation of best practices to help enhance operations
Communicates and coordinates between different departments to ensure policy services team is operating appropriately
Addresses and resolves policy related inquiries and issues from clients
Prepares and delivers monthly reports are generated for Director and clients
Conduct training sessions to staff on policy updates, quality of calls and any changes to procedures
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
Generate monthly invoicing, intents and recissions
Manually issue intents/ cancellations / recissions from Net Reports
Enter Mid-South new business submissions
Review and submit refunds request
Ensure FCBI daily emails are generated
Qualifications /Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or other related discipline or associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Previous experience in the insurance industry, policy administration or customer service preferred, 2-3 year of experience in policy services a plus
Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills required, proficiency in using policy management software a plus
Understanding of insurance policies, regulations and industry standards a plus
Excellent organizational skills and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
Results driven and customer focused
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Standard business hours of operations are - Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
