Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various critical business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring smooth operation of multiple interconnected components. The engineer collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and swiftly resolve disruptions, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of business processes.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues and continuous improvement of support processes.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance to enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Vmware Virtualization Administration.
- Strong understanding of virtualization concepts and infrastructure management.
- Experience in managing and maintaining virtual environments to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex virtualization issues and implement effective solutions.
- Familiarity with system monitoring tools and performance tuning within virtualized platforms.
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies in virtualized environments.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Vmware Virtualization Administration.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
