The Opportunity

Our Client Support Services team has an exciting opportunity for a Pro Rata Technician. In this role, you will support our client base through high-quality transactional processing and help secure reinsurance recoveries through timely and accurate system entry.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Managing an assigned client portfolio, taking full ownership of technical duties related to client accounts.
• Partnering with Market Fiduciary to support the collection of funds.
• Managing day-to-day Pro Rata processing, including (but not limited to):
  • Pro Rata post
  • Brokerage receivables
  • Funding and retention
  • E-trading
  • Ad hoc reporting requests
  • Transactional process steps, including renewals
• Building and maintaining effective working relationships with Brokers, Clients, and Markets.
• Participating in training sessions and contributing to continuous improvement/troubleshooting across reinsurance service processing.

What You Need to Have (Required)

• Insurance/Reinsurance premium and/or claims experience (e.g., handling cash loss/large loss) and a clear interest in moving into the Reinsurance sector.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with competent Excel skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of technical account structures.
• Strong workload management and the ability to manage expectations and meet deadlines.

What Makes You Stand Out (Preferred / Not Essential)

• Reinsurance claims experience.
• Prior experience working within Pro Rata.
• Experience working in a technical capacity for a Broker.
