As a Project manager you will work within the Parma Capital Engineering organization, focusing on production processes facilities (Project budget :50K€-30M€).

The Project Manager is responsible for leading the project delivery process for medium and large-sized projects, from Feasibility stage to Hand-over and Close-out to ensure an outcome which meets all the defined project objectives for cost, schedule, quality, safety and environment and delivers the business benefits.

The Project Manager is also responsible for the design, development, implementation and validation of construction & technical projects following all GSK Engineering guidelines/practices, requirements & procedures.

In this role you will...

Project Management Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage project budgets, schedules, and organizational structures. Prepare business cases for assigned projects and present them to the Site Capital Board.

  • Drive the Project Execution Plan, documenting project delivery strategies and success criteria per PM Standards. Establish and proactively manage a Quality Plan.

  • Prepare monthly progress reports, keeping the Steering Group and Sponsors informed of critical issues. Formulate and deploy risk management plans to handle project risks.

  • Develop contract strategies, select and manage contractors, and settle claims per company policy. Implement strict project and financial controls, including change management, cost control, progress measurement, and invoice review.

  • Ensure commissioning, validation, and handover strategies comply with PM Standards for timely and complete customer handovers.

Leadership

  • Lead and motivate empowered teams where decisions are taken at the lowest practical level in order to achieve individual and company objectives. Adopt performance management and accountability processes to drive projects delivery, ensuring visible targets to all team members.

  • Master's degree in Engineering

  • Strong background in the pharmaceutical industry

  • Proven experience in the required domain

  • Proven Project Management experience

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

  • Highly effective at influencing internally

  • Leadership skills in particular in developing people

  • Highly effective communication skills

  • This role requires sound judgment and complex decision making where few precedents and considerable ambiguity may exist.
