What responsibilities will you have?

As a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications.

• Independently manage and execute comprehensive testing activities with minimal supervision.

• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate all testing efforts effectively to meet project deadlines.

• Conduct all aspects of testing, including requirements analysis, test design, execution, results analysis, and detailed reporting.

• Identify, document, and track defects to resolution while investigating the root causes of non-conformance in software.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (communicate with all stakeholders) to uphold quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Track and analyze quality assurance metrics, such as test execution progress, defect density, and open defect counts, to inform team strategies.

• Actively participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, QA demos, and daily stand-ups to foster an agile development environment.

• Provide proactive feedback and suggestions throughout the testing lifecycle to prevent and address quality issues early.

What skills & experience are we looking for?

• Experience level: 6+ years.
• Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills (time management, attention to detail).
• Curiosity, willingness to learn new things, resilience to uncertainty, ability to grab and interpolate partial information from various sources and perspectives.
• Open-mindedness, ability to embrace change and face unexpected difficulties.
• Experience with API and web services, including tools like Postman and SoapUI.
• Conversant with SQL scripting.
• Experience with Desktop & Web application.
• Familiarity with BrowserStack or similar cross-browser testing platforms.
• Experience in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with Management tools (Azure DevOps, Confluence, XRAY, Jira, or any equivalent management tool).

What academic qualifications do you need?

• Bachelor in information systems, Computer Science, Applied Computing, Software Engineering, or any related field.

• ISTQB certification would be a plus.
