Role Summary:
Based in Grigny-sur-Rhône, the Precision Assembler will be responsible for the preparation of assembly work and documentation. This position will also assemble a variety of equipment and tools and perform test requirements. Additionally, the Precision Assembler will be responsible for the disassembly, cleaning, inspecting and reassembly during any repair process. This person will have access to the most modern materials and tools at our facility to accomplish these expectations to ensure the delivery of a high-quality product to our customers.
You will be responsible for the careful disassembly, cleaning, inspection and skilled repair/rebuild of control valves, butterfly valves, ball- and plug valves and pneumatic actuators using OEM parts.
The tasks are multifaced, also because each type of valve entails a different working method.
You are able to test (control) valves and appendages, using various testing equipment.
You will support our Field Service Technician, to perform work on location, when required.
You will draft clear inspection/repair reports to advise and justify the scope of work.
You are willing to travel 5-10% of your time, willing to work overtime as required on short notice
In this role you will report to our Regional Supervisor Field Service & Service Coordinator and as a team we are responsible for further optimizing the service & repair processes.
Your profile:
You feel at home in a dynamic, commercial and technical work environment. You are entrepreneurial, customer- and service-oriented and possess good communication skills.
Technical diploma ( BAC+2 or equivalent) with preferably minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
You are competent and driven.
Strong expertise in industrial valves, technical lead within the team.
You are a team player but also used to working independently.
Furthermore, you are accurate, flexible, customer-oriented and think in terms of solutions.
You have good documentation skills regarding reports and other records.
You are willing to follow training abroad.
You have a good command of the French and technical English level.
