Assistant Program Manager
We are looking for an Assistant Program Manager to join our Target Rock Team!
The Defense Valves Assistant Program Manager (APM) reports directly to the Program Manager to facilitate monitoring and reporting on various aspect of program performance. The APM operates on a cross functional team to drive alignment between Engineering, Operations, Quality and Accounting to meet all project commitments on schedule. The APM also creates, maintains, and inputs status on various project reports for internal and external customers.
Location: East Farmingdale, NY.
Annual Salary: $95,000 - $112,000

Criteria such as the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, the scope of the specific position, as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.
Your Challenge
Drive alignment between Program/ Customer Requirements and execution on the shop floor
Review Contracts/Purchase Orders and Amendments for accuracy and completeness in preparation for project launch.
Maintain backlog or other tracking reports to keep current project progress and estimated shipment dates.
Participate in meetings at a primary attendee or back-up to Program Manager as required
Closely follow status on key project activities as identified by the Program Manager to ensure project goals are met
Interface with customers and suppliers on key projects
Provide additional assistance to Program Managers on an as-needed basis
What You Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Accounting, or Business
3-5 Years Combined Experience in Program Management and/or Production Control
Background in a Manufacturing Environment
Strong leadership and communications skills
Must be a US Citizen
