The Opportunity

This position will support the Operational Excellence and Operations teams to implement and enable the sustainment of Continuous Improvement tools and systems within Amplatzer Operations in Plymouth, MN.

This position will also assist the Business Excellence (BEx) Manager and BEx engineers in the development and implementation of LEAN tools and processes across the Site. Coordinate, execute and document ongoing recurring LEAN tasks which support the Site LEAN projects and metrics.

What You’ll Work On

•    Coordinate and support LEAN (Process Flow Map and/or 5S) audit schedules throughout the Site and their development in new areas.
•    Complete standard work and labor analysis resulting in publication of approved Process Flow Maps (PFM) and make recommendations of process improvements based on coherent and compelling data analysis incorporating also innovative thinking while ensuring standardize work
•    Assist the BEx Manager and BEx Engineers in developing and executing action plans to achieve departmental goals 
•    Assist the BEx Manager and BEx Engineers in developing and executing action plans to drive cultural changes towards implementation of LEAN and Operational Excellence guiding principles
•    Support Operations areas in adherence to appropriate PFM, and provide adequate guidance and education where needed
•    Support project plans preparation by using Project Management (PM) and DMAIC tools with appropriate staff and working teams to define necessary activities to complete the projects 
•    Support project execution by completing task assigned, tracking to project plans and identifying risks
•    Conduct training where appropriate on LEAN tools

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
• Minimum 2 years of business experience in a professional environment.
• Must be fluent with multiple applications, preferably Microsoft Suite Application.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor Degree

The base pay for this position is

$23.25 – $46.55/hour
