Summary:

Our weld team members may weld the parts of the crane or the actual box of the truck.  You will weld on various metals, performing repairs and cleaning welds as required for the completion of the truck body. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Set up in fixtures, tack welding on all gauges of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. 
  • Assemble & weld various metal parts, conforming to IMT standards.
  • Cut, fit, heat & bend, performing weld repairs, & rebuild parts as directed.
  • Operation of overhead cranes.
  • Being a reliable and punctual team member.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in welding.
  • Basic blueprint reading.
  • Ability to read measuring instruments.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years’ experience in welding. 
  • Basic blueprint reading.
  • Ability to read measuring instruments.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools. 
  • HS diploma or GED.
