What you can expect

At Zoom the Solutions Engineer serves as the lead advocate for customers. You will translate technical needs into product development recommendations, deploy proof of concept customer environments and drive customer demand/features internally within Zoom. The SE must be able to understand and articulate Zoom's architectural and experience advantages to our customers. You will support the Account Executive when it comes to proposing and designing solutions to our customers' biggest collaboration challenges.

The Zoom Solutions Engineering team is a trusted advisor to our customers, playing an integral role in delivering happiness. We formulate and articulate technical solutions and the vision of how Zoom can elevate the customer experience. We are excellent storytellers and can present topics clearly and succinctly to all levels of both technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

•  Designing next generation communication solutions for Zoom customers

•  Conducting demo and proof of concepts for prospective Zoom customers

•  Maintaining competitive knowledge of the industry and proving our value proposition relative to our competitors

•  Building relationships with your sales partners and internal team members

•  Driving the Zoom vision

What we’re looking for

•  Able to build rapport by having both strong technical and business acumen and executive presence

• The ability to articulate the “why” and not just the “what”

•  Familiarity with SaaS collaboration; i.e. web conferencing, cloud voice, UcaaS

•  Experience in traditional voice communications systems and applications

•  Experience (4+ yrs) as a solutions engineer or similar customer facing technical sales role for 4+ years

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
