The Work:

The Deployment Engineer provides white-glove service to our account teams and supports the installation/deployment/implementation/support of AFS products and accelerators in client environments.

Deployment Engineer responsibilities include the following:

  1. Asset Deployment Documentation
  • Develop process to stand-up and tear down products and accelerators in an AFS sandbox in a repeatable way across multiple configurations and CSPs
  • Functionally test and document products and accelerators
  • Document lessons learned from client deployments
  • Create AFS-centered documentation, runbooks, etc.
  • Prepare detailed Deployment questionnaire to understand and anticipate challenges in client IT environments
  1. Client Deployment Support - Pre-Deployment Prep
  • Validate Deployment questionnaire with the account team
  • Conduct Pre-Deployment workshop with the account team to get a detailed understanding of the client environment.
  • Identify any client specific control requirements that need to be met (e.g. FedRAMP High, IL 4/5)
  • Build Deployment plan
  1. Client Deployment Support
  • Simulate client usage in test environments
  • Validate installation and deployment in simulated environment.
  • Review installation and deployment documentation.
  • Finalize deployment packages that will be delivered to the client
  • Work with the account team to functionally test applications to be implemented on client site
  • Install and/or support installation and deployment on client site.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve issues, and document FAQs during client deployment
  • For AI models, conduct prompt engineering for optimal responses
  • Training account teams on asset management and prompt engineering
  1. Post Deployment Support
  • Resolve L1/L2 tickets
  • Test patches/Hotfixes in test environments
  • Support deployment of patches/ hot fixes on client site
  • Support security vulnerability resolution on client site

Here's What You Need:

  • Master’s degree or 10 years of equivalent experience
  • AWS SA Professional certification is required
  • Experience implementing complex solutions containers, CLI, database, compute storage, security and/or networks
  • Troubleshooting issues
  • Experience with DevOps, AppDev, IT Infrastructure
  • Familiarity with core concepts in Generative AI, LLMs, AI/ML

  • Advanced Degree
  • 15+ years of industry experience
  • Motivated and proactive, with a desire to understand and address complex areas
  • Curiosity for learning about new technology, industry best practices, and areas of risk, analyzing and turning new insights into concrete action
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering tangible outcomes for customers and stakeholders
  • Excellent people management and relationship development skills

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:
$146,100$278,500 USD
