As a Virtual Clinical Pathologist, Independent Contractor with IDEXX, you will be part of an innovative and forward-thinking team committed to providing quality diagnostic services for our clients across North America. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience reading digital cases in the comfort of your own home. If flexibility is what you're seeking, this may be the perfect role for you.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) required
  • Pathology Board Certified - American College of Veterinary Pathology (ACVP) or ESVCP
  • Weekend and evening availability is a plus
  • Periodic weekend reading required
  • Fluency in English

Skills and abilities:

  • Familiarity with current topics and issues in clinical veterinary medicine.
  • Fluency in multiple languages preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to type and use dictation equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • A service oriented attitude.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Computer skills are required

  • Extensive sitting and computer use
