We are seeking a self-motivated individual with indirect tax experience to join our Professional Services team as an Implementation Consultant. The Implementation Consultant will play a critical role in driving customer success by leading the implementation of Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Determination solutions for new customers, while also providing expert-level support to the existing customer base. This individual will utilize their in-depth knowledge of indirect tax determination and ONESOURCE solutions to configure and deploy tailored solutions that meet customers' unique needs, ensuring seamless integration and optimal system performance. Additionally, they will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing ongoing support, training, and best practices to help them maximize the value of their investment, troubleshoot issues, and stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and system enhancements. Their expertise and exceptional customer service skills will be instrumental in fostering strong relationships, driving customer satisfaction, and maintaining Thomson Reuters' reputation for excellence in the industry.

About the Role:

In this opportunity as you will

  • Perform technical or functional roles on medium to large international projects, led by a Manager, ONESOURCE Partner, or Customer.
  • Conduct discovery sessions with customers to gather business requirements and configure solutions to meet their needs.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, tracks progress and identify potential roadblocks to ensure timely and successful implementations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, product owners, and client success managers, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, providing expert-level support and troubleshooting assistance for ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Determination solutions.
  • Analyze and resolve complex customer issues, escalating to internal teams as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell Thomson Reuters solutions.
  • Provide ongoing training and best practices to customers to ensure optimal system usage and collaborate with internal teams to identify and prioritize product enhancements and bug fixes.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to maintain expertise in indirect tax determination and ONESOURCE solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices, documentation, and knowledge base articles to improve implementation and support processes.
  • Participate in internal training and knowledge-sharing initiatives to maintain and expand product knowledge.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to provide product demonstrations, proof of concepts, and solutions consulting support as needed.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand Thomson Reuters' footprint within existing customer accounts.

About You:

You're a fit for the role if you have:

  • Functionally proficient with Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Determination solutions, including configuration, deployment, and integration.
  • Strong understanding of indirect tax automation principles, regulations, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics, and experience with integrations.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and develop solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Proven project management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with ability to interact with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Strong documentation and writing skills, with ability to create customer-facing materials and internal knowledge base articles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a customer-centric focus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and ability to learn new software applications.
  • Bachelors in CIS or Business (Management, Finance or Accounting)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, such as implementation specialist, consultant, or support specialist, with a focus on indirect tax determination or related solutions.
  • Proven track record of successful implementations, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.
