About the Team
The Data Engineering & Integrations team part of Enterprise Data Services Organization focuses on designing, building, and operating technology architecture solutions and software to manage and utilize data from various sources. We establish processes to channel data appropriately, store it using cloud and local databases, and develop tools leveraging AI, ML, and big-data techniques. Our team ensures the integrity and compatibility of data systems and continuously reviews requirements to suggest upgrades and improvements.

About the Role

Join our dynamic Data Engineering & Integrations team as an Data Engineer. We are expanding our focus on modern data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake to enhance our data capabilities. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing data integration, data warehouse, and data mart solutions using these cloud technologies. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-priority initiatives that span new and existing technologies, driving outstanding results and experiences for our customers and employees. You will be an integral member of the Enterprise Data Services Team in the Business Technology organization.

  • Develop and automate high-performance data processing systems to drive business growth and improve the product experience.

  • Evangelize high-quality software engineering practices towards building scalable and reliable data infrastructure and pipelines.

  • Design and develop data pipelines using PySpark, Airflow, Kafka, and DBT.

  • Build reliable, efficient, testable, and maintainable data pipelines.

  • Implement and optimize data integration solutions using Databricks and Snowflake.

  • Provide production support and resolve high-priority incidents and development coding issues.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to enable data insights throughout the data lifecycle.

  • Develop and implement CI/CD processes for data pipelines.

  • Focus on automation to improve efficiency and reliability of data operations.

About You

  • 5+ years of experience designing and building scalable and robust data pipelines to enable data-driven decisions for the business.

  • Hands-on experience with Cloud Data platforms such as Databricks/Snowflake/Redshift.

  • Proficient in data processing frameworks and ETL tools such as PySpark, Airflow, Kafka, and DBT.

  • Strong experience in one or more programming languages for processing large datasets, such as Python or Scala.

  • Ability to write advanced SQL and perform SQL performance tuning.

  • Experience working with version control, continuous integration, and release/change management tools.

  • Prior experience in a machine learning or environment is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
