What impact you'll make?

The Lead Finance Analyst (Electrification) is a pivotal role within the Transactional Accounting & Closing pillar. Reporting to the Closing Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, driving accounting compliance, and maintaining robust internal controls. You will be a key driver of operational excellence, focusing on process simplification and the delivery of accurate financial results in strict alignment with GE Vernova’s reporting standards and US GAAP.

What you’ll do

  • Financial Integrity & Reporting: Oversee the preparation and analysis of accurate financial statements and disclosures. Ensure all consolidation and reporting activities strictly adhere to regulatory and internal GE Vernova requirements.

  • Closing Excellence: Lead the month-end closing process by proactively identifying and resolving system edit checks and closing issues. Perform detailed financial analysis to ensure accurate FRP/Balance sheet deep dive/data request deep dive reporting.

  • Process Simplification: Apply analytical rigor to identify inefficiencies in current workflows. Propose and implement solutions to streamline closing processes, utilizing technical expertise to solve complex day-to-day operational challenges.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a primary point of contact for ES Global Process Leaders (GPL), Business Line Leaders, and intercompany operations. Facilitate clear, timely communication to ensure alignment across the finance ecosystem.

  • Technical Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance to junior team members and fostering a culture of continuous learning. Lead low-to-medium risk projects, managing resources effectively to achieve consensus and deliver high-quality results. Support upcoming business acquisition/disposition projects.

  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to established Electrification Segment procedures and internal control frameworks. Proactively monitor financial risks and ensure all reporting remains compliant with evolving accounting policies. Support external/internal audit request with providing the sufficient information.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor in finance/accounting from an accredited college or university

  • Significant progressive experience in a controllership or core accounting function.

  • Fluent English knowledge is essential 

  • Deep SAP expertise specifically in the areas Finance (FI) module; experience with FCC consolidation/Oracle Fusion/VDL reporting module a plus

  • Highly analytical with well-developed problem-solving skills

What will make you stand out

  • Knowledge of the Electrification businesses (including products, business processes, and systems)

  • Knowledge of US GAAP and GEV accounting policies and procedures in the areas of consolidation & reporting, intercompany, current affiliates

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Proven ability to work effectively across diverse finance structures, including shared services, outsourced providers, and local business teams.

  • This is a hybrid role with three days remote and two days in the office.
