Title and Summary

Senior Product Specialist – SME Partner Enablement

Why this role matters

As a Senior Product Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in enabling SMEs to bring products to market faster and with greater confidence. You’ll serve as the day‑to‑day onboarding leader for a portfolio of partners—owning outcomes, navigating complexity, and ensuring products move smoothly from intent to launch.

This role sits at the intersection of product execution, risk management, and partner enablement. You’ll balance speed, risk, and collaboration while helping partners and product teams navigate onboarding with clarity and predictability.

Beyond delivery, you’ll have a meaningful opportunity to shape how onboarding works at scale—identifying patterns, reducing friction, and influencing improvements that strengthen the operating model as the SME ecosystem grows. Your impact will be felt not only by individual partners, but across the broader portfolio through faster launches, clearer processes, and more consistent outcomes.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys ownership, problem‑solving, and making complex processes work better—for teams, partners, and the business.

What you’ll be doing

Own onboarding delivery end‑to‑end for a defined portfolio of SME partners, from initiation through approval and launch readiness

Act as the primary onboarding point of contact for SME product teams and external partners

Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and cross‑functional blockers, resolving issues before they escalate

Guide partners through onboarding, remediation, and documentation requirements, providing clarity at every step

Identify recurring friction points and opportunities for improvement, recommending standardisation, simplification, or automation

Create and maintain onboarding playbooks, templates, and FAQs to improve consistency and scalability

Provide clear, actionable updates and insights to leadership, supported by data and sound judgment

Mentor Product Specialists, contributing to strong execution quality and growing SME operational maturity

What we’re looking for

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

Experience in product operations, partner enablement, risk, compliance, sourcing, or related roles

Experience working with partners of varying size, complexity, and sophistication

Strong stakeholder management, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills

Comfortable operating autonomously in fast‑paced, partnership‑led environments

What success looks like

You are trusted to own onboarding outcomes with minimal oversight

Risks and issues are identified early and resolved efficiently

Stakeholders rely on your expertise, judgment, and clarity

SME onboarding becomes faster, clearer, and more consistent because of your contributions

You are recognized as a senior operator and natural step‑up candidate
