Summary

The OutSystems Developer works collaboratively with end users to develop applications that provide accessible information for decision-making. The OutSystems Developer supports the development and implementation of applications, data analysis, and analytic services for the entire company. This position is responsible for the collection, aggregation, analysis, and presentation of decision support tools. Collaborates with all departments, including Finance, IT, Operations, and Supply Chain, to identify and maximize opportunities to utilize OutSystems to improve business outcomes, business processes, promote the strategic use of information, and enable the workforce to use data analysis and interpretation as a competitive tool.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Designs and develops OutSystems applications to meet the business stakeholders’ needs.
  • Gathers and understands business requirements for application development and analysis.
  • Collaborates with data engineers and analysts to acquire, clean, process data extracts using data retrieval/management tools and transform data for application purposes.
  • Ensures data security and compliance with best practices.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues in OutSystems applications.
  • Provides training and support to end users on using OutSystems applications.
  • Keeps up to date with the latest OutSystems features and trends.
  • Participates in and supports all planning and problem resolution.
  • Identifies, communicates, and assists in resolving data quality and data reconciliation issues.
  • Performs independent audits, reviews, and validates databases to ensure data integrity.
  • Builds effective partnerships with coworkers throughout the Company by freely sharing appropriate information and provides assistance when needed.
  • Ensures optimum service to all internal and external partners in response to all requests for service and information.
  • Assists with other duties as assigned.
  • Protects confidential information.

Education & Certifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, or relevant fields preferred.
  • OutSystems certifications preferred.

Work Experience

  • Exposure to SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail on ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the data warehouse and the individual work units.
  • Proficiency in OutSystems development, including application creation.
  • Basic understanding of data modeling and data visualization concepts.
  • Knowledge of OutSystems for creating calculations.

Physical Demands

  • Requires an employee to frequently type and use computer and other office equipment such as a copier, printer, calendar, telephone, etc.
  • May be required to sit for long periods of time.
