Position Summary
Manage the process of Credit & Collections, Cash Application, and Forecasting, including the analysis of digital advertising and partnership revenue and account receivables. This position will be providing leadership with weekly and monthly account receivable and cash application reconciliation, invoicing, and outstanding balance of the receivables. In addition, this role will have the majority of the responsibility in managing our 3rd party vendors (Sidetrade, Salesforce, Global Hawk) and directly with NERP, providing analysis and reconciliations, as well as updating leadership on a weekly and monthly basis. Conduct various financial analyses and ad-hoc reports. Assist month-end closing, finance policy and process set up impacting P&L. Forecast, review, coordinate, monitor, and assist in the preparation of financial reporting and analysis, cash application, and credit risk assessment.Role and Responsibilities
Common Essentials/Duties and Responsibilities
Credit Management:
Assess credit worthiness of new and existing customers
Establish and maintain credit limits based on financial analysis
Monitor accounts for compliance with credit policies
Manage new customer onboarding process from code creation to credit limit approval
Monitor customer credit line expiration and manage the credit line in system
Manage credit limits and align with credit insurance guidelines.
Update credit limits and credit risk assessments in SAP and Salesforce
Approve Insertion Orders based on AR outstanding balance and credit assessment.
Collections:
Manage collection efforts for current and overdue accounts, coordinating follow-ups with internal and external partners.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers to facilitate collections.
Report on collection metrics and recommend strategies to improve collection rates.
Forecasting – overseeing and management of the monthly and quarterly collection and cash flow forecasting
Collection Platform Management, including management and oversight of the interface and account management between Sidetrade, Salesforce, and NERP.
S-MMA Management, including management and oversight of the interface, accounting, and credit card transactions within and between AdYen, Samsung Ad Manager, and our BofA lockbox.
Accounts Receivable:
Distribute invoices and update payment status accurately and promptly
Maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions.
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Cash Applications:
Apply customer payments to the appropriate accounts accurately
Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies
Collaborate with internal partners to ensure accurate billing and collections.
Forecasting:
Analyze historical data and trends to prepare cash flow forecasts.
Provide insights and recommendations to management regarding cash flow and credit limits
Assist in developing financial models to support forecasting efforts.
Reporting - Provide monthly and weekly reports, inclusive of
AR Analysis reports.
Cash Application and payment trend analysis.
Daily, Weekly, and Monthly collection and revenue recognition analysis.
Assist in the communication and meeting with HQ/VD Finance, inclusive of summarized memorandum, detail analysis and updates of AR accounts and variances.

Necessary Skills and Attributes
Compensation for this role, for candidates based in New York City, NY, is expected to be between $130,000 ~ $145,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
