Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing, assembly, and packaging of products while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The Production Supervisor will manage day-to-day production operations, coordinate planning functions, and support evolving business demands. This position also involves programming, setting up, and monitoring production equipment, conducting quality control checks, and ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S), and company policies.
Let's Talk About Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage daily production schedules to ensure targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
Oversee assembly operations, including workstation setup and adherence to process specifications.
Monitor production equipment and processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
Conduct quality control checks on incoming materials and finished products to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Provide leadership and guidance to production staff, assigning tasks, monitoring work progress, and maintaining schedules.
Foster collaboration across functional teams to ensure smooth production operations and timely issue resolution.
Ensure compliance with ResMed’s Quality, OH&S, and GMP policies, as well as relevant regulatory requirements.
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to enhance production efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintain accurate production records and reports, analyzing data to support decision-making and process improvements.
Let's Talk About Qualifications and Experience:
Required:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment.
Strong knowledge of production operations, quality control, and safety regulations.
Experience supervising a team, with the ability to provide direction, support, and performance feedback.
Ability to analyze production data and identify areas for improvement.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Experience in medical device manufacturing or a regulated industry.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
