BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:

Caterpillar of Australia is currently seeking committed and energetic Warehouse Associates to join our Queensland Distribution Centre (QDC) based in Yatala, Queensland. Working as a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for meeting customer delivery standards, locating and picking dealer orders in a safe, accurate and timely manner.  Reporting to a Warehouse Coach you will be required to meet Caterpillar’s Safety, Quality, Productivity and Velocity standards.

The primary responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):

Picking and Packing

Locating

Despatching

Loading/Unloading material

Unpacking and receiving warehouse goods

Forklift operations (if applicable)

RF Scanning / Voice Pick

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong commitment to safety

Excellent attendance record is a must

Prior warehousing experience within a fast-paced logistics environment

Certificate III or IV in Manufacturing and / or Warehousing and Distribution (preferred, not essential)

Willingness to adapt to change

RF / Voice Pick experience

Strong EWM or SAP knowledge

Excellent commitment to Quality and high attention to detail 

Forklift licence desired (LF and/or LO) but not essential
