The CBA technology unit delivers the best digital banking services to Commonwealth Bank customers and to do so is responsible for digital delivery, group data and analytics, technology and technology infrastructure, cyber, fraud, physical security and business resilience for all divisions across CBA. It is also dedicated to delivering the best workplace technology experience for our over 53.000 people across CBA and focused on providing the latest tools, technology, and resources to enhance the way we work together and empower our people to achieve more for our customers.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be consulted on product and feature design and will be critical to their quality implementation and delivery. You will have the opportunity to stretch yourself in front-end engineering, API development, and systems integration, as well as contribute to the evolution of this system and the business strategy. You’ll also be invited to attend our regular engineering guilds to broaden your expertise and participate in agile ceremonies, which will allow you to contribute to and define the way we operate.
In this role you be joining our new Identity and Access Group, Integration Excellence Squad who are charged with the design and delivery of how our identity platform integrates with channels across the Group. Building for reuse, they will own UX Patterns, UI Components, SDKs and everything needed to make integration with our modern identity platforms a success.

Tech Skills:
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these will set you up for success in this team:
Developing robust and secure mobile solutions for IOS applications essential.
Proficient with Xcode as well as keeping up to date with most modern mobile development practices essential.
Can act as an SME for mobile application development for IOS and be able to understand the current code base.
Advanced experience in best standards and first-class in software engineering and architecture principles in mobile.
Exceptional sense for design with an ability to see an app through from conception, development, testing to release.
Knowledge of RESTful services.
Advance knowledge in source control management such as Git and Gitflow.
Previous experience of working with Agile methodology.
Experience with CI/CD and exposure to testing automation.
