Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:

• Provide support and maintenance of computer networks, hardware, software, and other related systems with industry best practices. 

• Support LANs, WANs, Internet, and Intranet systems. 

• Collaborate with the users of Airasia operations and monitoring  to identify potential issues and fix existing problems.

• Responsible for disaster recovery operations, protecting data, software, and hardware from attacks, and replacing faulty network hardware components when necessary.

• Analyse, isolate & troubleshoot network issues. 

• Resolve network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, good put, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and  testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls. 

• Evaluate and modify the system's performance. Propose for improvement of the network infrastructure  including the hardware and services.  

• Ensure network connectivity throughout the LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical  considerations. 

• Maintain network services such as VPN gateways &  intrusion detection systems. 

• Upgrades network by conferring with vendors; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing  enhancements. Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and  performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendor 

• Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintaining  documentation. 

• Experience in maintaining & troubleshooting the wireless infrastructure within the office and remote offices.

• Experience in maintaining troubleshooting Network Access Control (NAC)

WHO YOU ARE:

• Possess a Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.

• At 5 years of solid working experience in the network fields.

• Possess good verbal and written communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia or additional languages is an added advantage.

• Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in Networking Administration and Engineering.

• Familiar with Cloud Network (Google/Microsoft Azure/Alibaba/AWS) Architecture.

• Familiar with Cloud Network Modules & Configuration.

• Preferable to have working experience in Public Cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure).

• Self-motivated, ability to multitask, interact with all levels of users, team player, fast learner.
