Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer / Principal Systems Engineer.  This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program. 

What You’ll Get To Do

Design, Develop and Integrate hardware and software for the System Integration Labs (SILs). Work with mechanical and electrical test engineering teams to build, certify and operate the SILs. This position is for a systems engineer to support the development of the SILs. Duties include regular customer coordination to enable requirement derivation and development of Systems Engineering models in CAMEO that will be used to support SIL design efforts.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Basic Qualifications

This position may be filled at a Systems Engineer or Principal Systems Engineer level

• Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of relevant engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree; 1 year with a Masters or PhD (Principal level requires 5 years with a BS; 3 years with a Masters; or 1 year with a PhD)
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an Active DoD Secret clearance with an in-scope investigation date within the last 6 years
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret security clearance
• Experience creating and releasing Systems Engineering diagrams including requirement traceability diagrams, requirements verification and data objective artifacts

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering or experience in any design-related engineering field
• Knowledge of CAMEO and DOORS
• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance that is in-scope within the last 5 years

Salary Range: $75,300.00 - $112,900.00Salary Range 2: $92,600.00 - $139,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
