The Managed Security Systems Lead is responsible for the implementation and oversight of technical security measures in accordance with NATO Security Policy, Directives, and HQ Security Regulations. This role ensures the protection of classified information and discussions at NATO HQ and other locations. The position involves monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on technical security threats, maintaining system resilience, and leading initiatives to mitigate vulnerabilities. The individual in this role will report to the Director of Managed Security Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee technical security operations supporting monitoring, incident analysis, and reporting.
• Provide expert guidance on Wireless Intrusion Detection Systems (WIDS) and related technical security solutions.
• Engage with defense industry stakeholders to enhance security resilience.
• Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical security instructions.
• Ensure compliance with NATO security policies and directives.
• Manage centralized monitoring and alerting systems for security personnel.
• Provide subject matter expertise in Technical Security Countermeasures (TSCM), Access Control, Video Monitoring Systems, and Electronic Security Systems.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies for emerging security threats.
• Collaborate with NATO agencies, national authorities, and international stakeholders.
• Lead project management efforts, ensuring timely delivery of security initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Managed Security Systems.
• Managerial experience leading small security teams.
• Strong knowledge of technical security trends, threat analysis, and security compliance.
• Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in Project Management tools and cost/labor management.
• Ability to work in a multilateral environment with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
• Must possess or obtain a NATO Secret security clearance prior to employment.
• Must obtain Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) access for base entry.
