Customer Technical Specialist (CTS) North Netherlands

Corteva Agriscience markets an extensive package of crop protection products, sowing seeds and seed treatments. A filled pipeline of new products and technologies is ready to be introduced in the coming years. In addition to traditional resources, Corteva Agriscience focuses on the development of innovative biological solutions.

The Benelux organization of Corteva Agriscience works with a compact and close-knit team in which knowledge sharing and cooperation are central: people support each other and step in where necessary. Achieving a joint result is goal. To expand our Benelux team, we are looking for a Customer Technical Specialist North Netherlands.

Purpose:

The role of Customer Technical Specialist is the vital link between Corteva and the field—translating the needs of growers, advisors, and partners into actionable insights. CTS leads the design and execution of trial fields and demonstration platforms, ensuring our crop protection products are positioned effectively and backed by solid technical evidence. Working closely with our R&D, marketing, and sales teams, CTS helps shape the future of sustainable agriculture in the region. CTS is a proactive, independent team player with a strong foundation in crop protection and a passion for innovation.

Main responsibilities:

As Technical Support Specialist

• Organize demonstration trials and platforms for new and existing products and gives guided tours; create protocols for this and uses European databases
• Maintain contacts with partners in the chain, advisors, end users, officials and other stakeholders in the crop protection market to optimally position and support our product range
• Create presentations and technical literature to support product positioning
• Contribute to the correct technical positioning of our crop protection products in the Benelux market
• Consult with R&D, marketing and sales about the purpose and design of trials
• Keep colleagues actively informed about the progress of trials
• Contribute to making business cases for new products & cultivation solutions

Job requirements

• At least a Higher Professional Education
• Technical knowledge of crops and crop protection products
• Practical knowledge of crops, diseases and pests and preferably some affinity with testing in fields
• Good command of the Dutch and English language, both verbally and in writing
