Summary:
As an Application Lead, you will transform data into actionable insights that can be visualized, monitored, and acted upon in a dynamic DevOps environment where you work with Azure, Databricks and DBT on smart solutions for insurance processes. You will also design and develop scalable data solutions that make our insurance processes smarter and more efficient. As a Data Engineer, you work with modern technologies such as Azure Data Factory and Databricks in an environment where collaboration and innovation are key. You will contribute to a future-proof data landscape within a leading financial institution. Your role emphasizes innovation, compliance, and future-proofing data infrastructure within the financial sector.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to develop and maintain scalable data pipelines with Azure Data Factory, Databricks and DBT.
- Work with DevOps teams on a compliant and future-proof data platform according to Rabobank standards.
- Automate the extraction of data from the Level system to operational systems, data lakes and reporting.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
- Monitor project progress and implement necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Azure Data Services.
- Strong understanding of data pipeline architecture and ETL processes.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps and Databricks, and know how to use these to build robust data pipelines.
- Familiarity in a structured manner and have a good understanding of data modelling and data management best practices.
- Ability to work with various data storage solutions, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
Additional Information:
-The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer in a complex IT environment, preferably within the financial or customer journeys.
-Candidate should be skilled in writing efficient and scalable SQL queries and have demonstrable experience with Python.
-Should be a team player who communicates effectively with colleagues from different disciplines and chain partners.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
