A Day in the Life

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Coronary and Renal Denervation (CRDN) team. Our products and therapies are used in the treatment of patients with Coronary Artery Disease and Hypertension. Our customers are clinical and non-clinical, and mainly within the Interventional Cardiology and Interventional Radiology specialities in Tertiary Centres and District General Hospitals.

The CRDN team are responsible for establishing Medtronic as ‘The Company’ to partner with to help Physicians reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease through leveraging our combined portfolio. To aid this vision there is a constant focus on developing innovative solutions and a significant investment in R&D across the combined businesses with both businesses having a strong pipeline of products and solutions coming to market over the coming years.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Specialist to join our CRDN Business Unit. In this role, you will be pivotal in developing and executing marketing strategies to drive growth and market share gain for our Complex PCI portfolio, you will be also in charge of coordinating and managing the operations for European projects as well as developing the marketing communication strategies in CRDN business unit, and you will demonstrate a strong focus on strategic thinking, customer engagement, and digital marketing.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Formulates and reviews corporate short and long-range plans, goals, and objectives for specific product or product line
  • Build, coach and help Execute the Complex PCI portfolio Marketing strategies and campaigns across Western Europe region. The candidate will be the liaison between global team and the countries. The candidate will help in coaching the country Marketers to execute the quarterly MKG priorities and tracking the progress
  • Serves as technical adviser, demonstrating products and troubleshooting product issues. The candidate will be the Expert and reference for Complex PCI portfolio in Western Europe, supporting the MKG&sales team with all technical and clinical specs&data needed for tenders and to win deals as well as providing them with tools needed to counterattack competitive messages in the markets and supporting in training whenever needed
  • The candidate will conduct competitive product analysis and market research and will help planning and driving the initiatives that will increase the CRDN Product usage in the region as well as our MS in the countries
  • On top of the product management role, the candidate will be responsible of coordinating and managing the operations for some marketing projects led by European MKG team (MDT events, congresses, etc.)
  • The candidate will also help the European MKG team with communication strategies and planning

 

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in product management and marketing within the medical device or healthcare industry, with a proven track record of successful product launches and market penetration strategies
  • Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles with a strong emphasis on relationship building and stakeholder engagement
  • Fluent in English (both verbal and written)
  • Willingness to travel in Europe (up to 30%)
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to derive actionable insights from data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, European product launch experience, country project and/or program management experience, and a second European language will be a plus.
