Mission and Goal

To hire an intern who enjoys programming in C++ or python

As a QA Intern, you’ll be joining our Antivirus Core team, where we build and maintain core protection technologies that safeguard millions of users worldwide. This team plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our antivirus engine. You will collaborate with developers, security researchers, and QA professionals to ensure the high quality of our core antivirus components. Part of your role will involve creating and enhancing Python-based automation tools to support testing processes and improve efficiency.

• Short-term goals: Help with manual and automated testing of Antivirus Core components and improve testing processes through automation.
• Long-term goals: Contribute to building robust test documentation, collaborate on improving internal QA tools, and help enhance product quality across the organization.

Objectives

• Perform manual and automated testing of Antivirus Core components.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of Python automation scripts for testing and analysis.
• Participate in regression and performance testing to ensure system stability and protection efficacy.
• Investigate, identify, and report defects or anomalies in the antivirus engine behavior.
• Assist with verifying test results from our automated visual tests.
• Help build and maintain structured test documentation and case templates.
• Contribute to internal QA tools and the broader QA knowledge base.
• Collaborate with developers and other QA team members to test new features and fixes.

What We Welcome

• Technical knowledge of Windows 10/11 (basic or intermediate).
• C++ or python programming
• Experience creating test plans for software or websites.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with testing across various operating systems, browsers, and versions.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, techniques, and frameworks.
• Experience working in an Agile team.
