Overview

Our Trois-Rivières office is currently seeking a Materials and Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory Technician. The Laboratory Technician ensures the proper functioning of the department in relation to soils, concrete, and geotechnical materials in general.

Your Role

• Reports to the Laboratory Manager.

• Comply with current safety standards.

• Receive deliveries and samples, and complete related documentation.

• Ensure the conformity of samples upon reception.

• Manage the storage and disposal of samples.

• Maintain the workspace, equipment, and a safe working environment.

• Perform laboratory tests on asphalt.

• Carry out calibrations of field and laboratory equipment.

About You

• DEC or AEC in Civil Engineering or Mineral Technology.

• Strong interest in working in a laboratory setting.

• Proficiency in French (spoken and written).

• Good physical ability.

• Relevant experience related to the position, an asset.

• Possession of the ASP Construction card, an asset.

• Valid driver’s license, an asset.
