About the Role:

The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for leading/coordinating efforts to identify emerging trends, opportunities and risks with respect to legislative and regulatory developments. In addition, this person will manage cross-functional workstreams designed to influence, interpret, and comply with such objectives. The key responsibilities include trend identification and analysis, stakeholder engagement, scenario planning, reporting and communication to senior leadership, program management, knowledge sharing and capacity.

You Will:

  • Horizon Scanning: Continuously monitor and analyze the regulatory landscape across all of Remitly's outbound countries .
  • Identify latest regulatory trends, risks, and opportunities that may improve the business.
  • Develop a cross-functional horizon scanning framework and process.
  • Regulatory Change Management: Assess the impact of regulatory changes on the business and coordinate with Government Affairs, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Product, and Technology departments to influence outcome and ensure compliance.
  • Ensure timely and effective integration of regulatory changes into business processes and systems.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess regulatory risks associated with our products and services.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management on regulatory developments and their potential impact.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of regulatory changes and related compliance activities.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on regulatory requirements and changes.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 or more years of experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, or a related role within the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of global regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements, particularly in the context of cross-border money transfers.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with partners at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional certifications such as CAMS, CRCM.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $116,000-$145,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
