Job Summary:

Do you like to implement technology solutions that have material impact on revenue production? Would you like to lead Digital Transformation across commercial products and services at a 113 year-old Wide Moat pure-play automation company? As a DevOps Engineer as part of the Cloud Operations team, you will work directly with customers to resolve any issues or request changes needed. You will design, deliver, and implement solutions for various business capabilities and learn cloud architecture, automation, and scripting. You will help Rockwell support a Cloud-First operating model that creates best-in-class, agile, and on-demand IT products and services.

Your Responsibilities:

• Work with customer business units to use cloud services to achieve revenue faster
• Troubleshoot and implement technical solutions for business problems
• Design, code, and test new tools, applications, and services
• Help teams use and implement DevOps tools and practices
• Write high-quality code compliant with enterprise and industry regulations
• Stay current with latest cloud tech and obtain/maintain cloud certifications
• Work as a team to mature the team - always answer and ask questions
• Help Rockwell accelerate the adoption of cloud services across the organization
• Bring industry best-practices and new thinking to the team
• Practice SAFE Agile principles

The Essentials - You Will Have:

4 plus years of relevant experience on Azure cloud DevOps

• Cloud Application architecture
• Kubernetes.
• Cloud Networking.
• Azure firewall
• Azure Application Gateway
• Azure Private endpoints and Private DNS zones.
• Scripting and automation skills (Terraform, PowerShell, Git)
• Azure DevOps pipelines
• Core IaaS: Compute, Storage, Networking, High Availability
• Demonstrable cloud development impact
• Experience working in a Cloud-First operating model or within a dedicated cloud team
• Service Provider/MSP experience

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements
