The Cleveland Clinic team at Weston Hospital is looking to add a Department Supervisor III to the team who will oversee outpatient registration and admitting. This role will mainly support the lab, imaging, surgery, and the Emergency Department. You will supervise the department’s technical and administrative functions as well as implement goals and collaborate with other caregivers to achieve them. It will be your goal to ensure the team has the support they need to meet the OKRs for patient registration, safety, and experience along with compliance. A caregiver with strong communication and leadership skills, emotional intelligence, and experience with conflict management will excel in this role. This is a full-time role. A caregiver in this position works Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Availability to virtually support teams on Saturdays will be required, as needed.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Supervise the technical and administrative functions.
Act as a technical resource for team members.
Collaborate to achieve organizational goals.
Implement goals consistent with assigned clinical and nonclinical units.
Supervise caregivers in daily operations.
Maintain staffing levels and ensure cross coverage.
Approve and schedule paid time off and leave requests.
Provide leadership and training.
Coordinate and provide orientation, education and training. Develop an effective work team.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve procedures and processes.
Communicate with caregivers and provide orientation on policies.
Analyze workflow and procedures.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve speed, quality and effectiveness.
Lead and implement large process improvement projects.
