Job Summary:

Geisinger’s Cancer Institute is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Malignant Hematologist to join our team at Geisinger Medical Center (GMC) in Danville, Pennsylvania—our flagship academic medical center and home to our advanced cellular therapy and transplant program.

This is a unique opportunity to practice within a physician-led, nationally recognized health system, delivering cutting-edge care alongside a highly collaborative and multidisciplinary oncology team.

Position Highlights

  • Join a comprehensive malignant hematology program caring for patients with complex hematologic malignancies
  • Access to a FACT-accredited Cellular Therapy Program offering:
    • Autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplantation
    • Bone marrow harvest and peripheral blood stem cell transplant
    • CAR‑T cell therapy and other advanced cellular therapies
  • Practice across both inpatient and outpatient settings, including dedicated transplant units and specialized clinics
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, including transplant specialists, oncology, pharmacy, pathology, and supportive care
  • Participate in tumor boards, clinical trials, and academic initiatives within the Cancer Institute
  • Opportunity to contribute to a program managing high-acuity cases such as leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and bone marrow disorders
