About Unlimit

Founded in 2009, Unlimit is a global fintech company with 16 offices all over the world and more than 500 employees, that offers a large portfolio of financial services - from acquiring (payment processing) to banking as a service. Our mission is to be “ready for tomorrow” and to provide our customers with a sense of stability in the everchanging financial landscape and an opportunity to be prepared for whatever the tomorrow of business brings their way, so that while others observe, they can already take an advantage.

About the job:

To support Unlimit’s growth, we are seeking a junior Banking and Network Manager to join our
Banking and Network Relationships Team, which manages Unlimit’s global partnerships with
financial institutions and payment providers.

In this role, you will oversee daily interactions with banks and alternative payment providers,
collaborating closely with the Global Head of Banking and Network Relationships and regional
heads. You will manage the due diligence process, on-boarding procedures, and account
openings with our banking partners globally.

This position requires close cooperation with internal stakeholders and external partners across
regions to ensure timely, accurate responses to due diligence questionnaires and facilitate
successful banking relationships. We are looking for a self-motivated, high-energy individual with
strong business acumen. For the right candidate, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to
our ambitious growth goals.

Key duties and responsibilities:

- Act as the primary liaison for financial institutions and payment providers, overseeing
account opening, due diligence, network compliance, service monitoring, and pricing
conditions globally.
- Lead the due diligence process for new banking and partner relationships, coordinating
documentation and responses while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Manage the onboarding and account opening process with banking partners,
collaborating with internal teams across regions to compile necessary documents,
complete applications, and submit them for approval within established timelines.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external partners, serving as a trusted
advisor on compliance matters and proactively addressing concerns to strengthen
partnerships.
- Build relationships with key internal stakeholders—including Compliance, Legal, Finance,
Treasury, Sales, and Product—to facilitate effective collaboration and ensure timely
responses to regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement standardised processes for due diligence, onboarding, and
account opening with banking partners, focusing on documentation requirements and
quality assurance to enhance efficiency.
- Stay informed about payment market trends and research new markets, payment rails,
and banking providers to inform Unlimit’s payment network strategy.
- Assess and manage risks associated with banking relationships, implementing controls
and monitoring mechanisms to ensure compliance and mitigate potential issues.

Skills and experience required:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a bank, payments, or fintech company in Europe, with
knowledge of payments and banking
- Possess an analytical and data-driven approach to managing our partners and are
comfortable addressing optimisation challenges
- A can-do attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile when required
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a hands-on mentality,
team-oriented approach, and results-driven mindset
- Interest in digital companies and fintech, along with knowledge of marketplace and
platform business models
- Proficient in key tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
