Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. You will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in Splunk Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) to ensure the security of our organization's systems and data. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, implement security measures, and respond to security incidents. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of our organization's information and assets. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Utilize expertise in Splunk Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) to ensure the security of our organization's systems and data. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks. - Implement security measures to protect our organization's information and assets. - Respond to security incidents and conduct investigations to determine the root cause. - Stay updated with the latest security threats and trends to proactively address potential vulnerabilities. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Splunk Security Information and Event Management (SIEM). - Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies. - Experience in implementing and managing security solutions. - Knowledge of network security protocols and technologies. - Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with security incident response and threat hunting. - Experience with security assessment and penetration testing. - Knowledge of cloud security and DevSecOps practices. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Splunk Security Information and Event Management (SIEM). - This position is based at our Mumbai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
