About the Role

Assists Head of Underwriting and Issues to make appropriate risk selection and risk assessment for all new applicants

Roles and Responsibilities:

-Approves, reviews, and assesses complicated and large cases(50%) -Provides training & other support to channels to better meet business needs(10%)

-Ensures the achievement of service standard and benchmark, as well as TAT, productivity, and customer satisfaction(10%)

-Executes standard Underwriting rule and process in BU(10%)

-Keeps well communication with CHO Underwriting on relevant aspects of underwriting(10%)

-Ensures appropriate technique & administerial support to new product implementation(10%) Financial and Non-Financial Measures: -AIA China –Branch VoNB -Service standard (TAT , productivity etc.)

-Customer and channel satisfaction

Communication Requirements

-Internal (90%) -BU underwriter, Other staff in BU Operations, BU channels, marketing, legal, compliance, CHO Underwriting

External (10%)

- Customers Minimum

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience - Bachelor degree or above , major in medicine preferred - Minimum 3 years in underwriting

- FLMI qualification preferred Specific Skills

- Good interpersonal and communication skill and fluent in written Chinese and English

- Effective problem solving skill
