Overview: The Director of Professional Services Operations will lead operations for the Global Services organization, establishing and executing on a strategy and roadmap to achieve operational excellence. This role will lead financial reporting and operational reviews with the services delivery teams to drive growth and mitigate risk. This role director will also establish and execute on a playbook for all services integration activities related to M&A. The Director role manages a global team of business analysts who provide day-to-day operational support, as well as help on longer term strategies for improvements. In addition to a close partnership with the services delivery leaders, the Director of Services Operations will have to collaborate with key stakeholders in sales, finance, revenue accounting, and sales operations.

 

What you will do: 

  • Ensure effective execution of service delivery to support the Global Services business
  • Partner with FP&A to define content and cadence of forecasts, delivery revenue, margins, utilization and other key financial and operational metrics
  • Lead regular operational reviews for Professional Services leadership, developing and delivering content
  • Assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks and resolve escalations that impede services delivery and customer outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Operations and Accounting to improve efficiency on overall quote to cash process
  • Lead M&A due diligence and integration for PS
  • Partner with RevOps and Sales Enablement to continuously enable broader GTM teams on services offerings
  • Partner with IT to lead services requirements for the selection and configuration of tooling and system

What we are looking for:

  • Highly collaborative individual with strong communication skills who can work across teams to drive positive change
  • Self-motivated and energetic individual able to work in a matrixed and fast-paced environment
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, managing a PS operations team or equivalent
  • Knowledgeable and experienced with PS Operations processes
  • Working experience with SFDC, OpenAir, NetSuite and Coupa or equivalent systems
  • Has a proven track record of implementing change and driving improvements
  • Data-driven and analytical individual who uses metrics and KPIs to identify risks and measure progress
  • Experienced with M&A, due diligence, process and systems integration
  • PMO experience is a plus
  • After-hours support as needed for end-of-quarter/month activities
  • Occasional travel for team meetings <5%
  • Minimum education – Bacheler’s degree or equivalent work experience
