As a Project Manager for Performance Marketing, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the seamless delivery of data-driven digital initiatives. Overseeing specialists across SEO, CRO, Measurement & Analytics, and Martech - you’ll act as the orchestrator - aligning expertise, timelines, and priorities to drive high-impact outcomes for clients.
Working closely with performance specialists and project stakeholders, you’ll develop structured project plans, manage budgets, and ensure all moving parts are aligned for smooth execution. You’ll collaborate across teams to keep initiatives on track, proactively problem-solve, and ensure clients remain informed and engaged throughout the process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Own and manage the delivery of performance marketing projects, ensuring they meet Accenture Song’s standard of excellence. What does excellence look like?

EXPECTATIONS
· Clear, structured communication: Whether it’s briefs, debriefs, emails, status reports, post-campaign analysis, or project plans - your written work should be well thought out, free of errors, and actioned without delay.
· Strategic approach to feedback: Client feedback should be interrogated and fully understood before being relayed internally to ensure alignment and efficiency.
· Proactive stakeholder updates: Managers, team members, and clients should always be kept informed with accurate, timely updates to maintain momentum and trust.
· Time and cost management: Timesheets must be completed accurately and on time. Cost estimates should be thoroughly checked, approved before work begins, and billed correctly upon approval.
· Project tracking and documentation: Maintain up-to-date project histories and archives (Workbook, server, status reports, etc.), ensuring accuracy and easy reference for future work.
What We’re Looking For
· 1-3 years of experience in project delivery/client service, the majority being Performance Marketing focused. Telecommunications and financial services sector experience advantageous.
· Ownership & Accountability: Proactive, hard-working, and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes with minimal oversight.
· Organised & Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in execution.
· Strong Communicator & Team Player: Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and keep stakeholders informed.
· Resilient Under Pressure: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing tight deadlines, and adapting to shifting priorities.
· Logistical Readiness: The role is JHB-based, and a valid driver’s license / reliable transport are required.
