Job Title: Second Level Dealer (SLD) Program Manager
Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 (Depending on Experience)
Location: Peterborough

Job Opportunity
The Second Level Dealer (SLD) Program Manager position is a newly created role that sits within the Marketing and Channel Development department of IPSD. This exciting new role will be focused on the management, administration, oversight and governance of global processes and procedures which are aimed at Perkins distributor second-level dealers (SLD).
This strategic global role will work closely with IPSD product support, aftermarket, legal and compliance teams and be the primary point of strategic support for Perkins distributor partners who utilise an SLD network to consistently meet our customers’ needs for excellent parts availability and service support in territory.
This position is ideal for candidates with prior experience in channel management and a proven ability to align multiple stakeholders to achieve common goals for distributors and Perkins. It requires a deep understanding of the distribution business model, strong project management skills and knowledge of process improvement methodologies related to sales and service capabilities.
What you will do
Act as the main point of contact with distributor leaders on key strategic matters related to the development of the SLD coverage model in territory, ensuring that Perkins customer needs for parts availability and service support are met consistently.
Ensure that Perkins distributors understand and comply with IPSD policies regarding SLD entities, both commercial and compliance aspects.
Own the IPSD process of selecting, appointing and governing SLD entities, including managing metrics to monitor adherence to the process and leading internal governance reviews with senior management.
Bring increased governance to SLD entities through Perkins distribution channel to ensure that SLDs are effective, capable and aligned with Perkins growth objectives and brand promise.
Collaborate with aftermarket and service teams to perform virtual and on-site audits of SLD facilities and capabilities to ensure compliance with established standards.
Partner with internal teams and distributor leaders to design and implement programmes tailored to the needs of SLD entities
Own the inclusion of any SLD specific activities within the Perkins Distributor Excellence programme.

Ability to apply global perspectives appropriately in a wide range of situations.
Additional Information:
Travel expectation is 10% globally
Hybrid working pattern – 3 days in the office.
What You Will Get
In this role you will work within a global team but operate independently day to day interfacing primarily with distributor leadership and IPSD personnel, including the Sales, Marketing, Product Support, Aftermarket, legal and compliance teams to identify, analyze and resolve distribution needs and problems in the territory.
