At Corporate Technology Center in Kraków, we create innovative solutions that are implemented in ABB products and systems. This is a unique opportunity to join interdisciplinary scientific teams and international projects where expertise, curiosity, and innovation are highly valued.

About the Internship:

• Start date: as soon as possible (18 August or 1 September 2026)
• Hybrid work model
• Availability of 20–25 hours per week

Your Responsibilities:

• Assist with mechanical simulations and numerical analyses of medium-voltage switchgear
• Help prepare and simplify models for structural, short-circuit, explosion, and environmental analyses
• Contribute to technical reports and presentations summarizing engineering results
• Learn engineering simulation tools and analytical methods under the guidance of experienced specialists

Requirements:

• 3rd or 4th year student of Mechanical Engineering, Automation & Robotics, Materials Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with 3D CAD software, SolidWorks or similar
• Communicative English skills with the ability to read technical documentation
• Eagerness to learn numerical simulations and mechanical engineering analysis
• Basic knowledge of Python is a plus
