JR67372 Engineer, PDE TD Ops (Evergreen)

At Micron, we are seeking a Technology Development, Operation Management Engineer (TD Ops Engineer) to join our team. As part of our team, you will play a meaningful role in optimizing our processes and ensuring flawless execution of our engineering projects.

Job Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Coordinate business practices to achieve the highest level of efficiency within Technology Development (TD), also covering Accelerated Technology Package Development Engineering (ATPDE) if necessary.

  • Partner with internal customers and external stakeholders to set project priorities, establish milestones, and ensure timely completion.

  • Actively evaluate and address stakeholders’ dependencies and milestones, solve problems, and drive solutions to minimize issues.

  • Ensuring that the organization successfully converts inputs (e.g., materials, labor, and technology) into outputs (e.g., technode qualification, recipes) efficiently.

  • Lead and coordinate all execution efforts in delivering engineering builds and TD operations per established standards and guidelines.

  • Conduct effective meetings by setting objectives, involving the right people, and driving detailed business and technical discussions and alignment. Document meeting discussions, decisions, and future steps, ensuring alignment with internal customers and internal/external partner teams.

  • Identify and lead improvement initiatives that improve TD and cross-team efficiencies, optimizing the teams’ value and delivery. Collaborate to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions in compressed periods.

  • Foster strong working relationships with internal and external collaborators across multiple programs and projects.
     

Engineering Build/Lot Management

  • Work independently with internal and external teams to manage TD builds successfully.

  • Streamlines TD build schedules to meet program/project deadlines based on business priorities, avoiding mishandling or lengthy staging time.

  • Optimize material preparation according to the project/requestor requirements without unnecessary waste.

  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and builds.

  • Forecast TD build and material demands based on past data and input from teams/stakeholders.

  • Drive continuous improvement to achieve more with the same resources.

  • Identify risks, issues, and roadblocks and communicate them to teams/collaborators for immediate resolution.

Leadership

  • Lead and manage TD Ops Engineering Assistant (EA) on operational tactical execution.

  • Coordinate one or multiple EA and provide reports of their activities and performance.

  • Strategize and supervise EAs’ work and daily activities.

  • Encourage and motivate team members toward achieving Micron’s goal.

  • Demonstrate perseverance, strong opinions, and confidence in achieving a goal

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics Engineering.

  • 3+ years of experience in Semiconductor Backend Assembly Manufacturing or Operation Management.

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional collaboration skills and thrives in a team environment

  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
