The purpose of this position is to ensure that client service excels at Healing Care Animal Hospital, and clients always have a positive interaction with our hospital. As a CSR, you are the first and last contact with the hospital, making you key to creating lasting impressions. Your responsibilities include primarily clerical tasks related to animal care and providing miscellaneous support to the veterinary practice manager and health care team. These service functions encompass reception (both in-person and telephone), maintenance of veterinary medical records, accounts management, cash processing, data entry, word processing, appointment scheduling, and mail services. You’ll need practical knowledge of animals, services, basic rules and regulations governing visitors and animal patient treatment, data transcription, word processing, and standard procedures, veterinary records, and terminology used in the hospital.
