Department Overview

The Accessory and Energy Product Management team has end-to-end ownership of the product definition, planning, delivery, and sunset of the entire product portfolio. The product managers work with cross-functional teams including Device portfolio PdM’s, engineering, supply chain, marketing, sales, and customers for product definition and prioritization. The team is responsible for the overall product requirements, value proposition, KSP’s, metrics, business case, and market launch of the product.


Job Description

The Director of A&E Product Management will lead a team of PdM’s that are responsible for the strategy, roadmap, feature definition, go-to-market strategies, and launch of Motorola Solutions A&E portfolio.

The PdM organization works closely with the Devices PdM’s to define requirements necessary for device support as well as drives requirements to grow the A&E business and meet customer needs. The PdM team is the organization that is responsible for the ‘why’, ‘what’, ‘where’, and ‘when’ of the product that the development team will build.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of professional experience with 5+ years of Product Management experience

  • 5+ years leading a team

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Marketing

  • MBA a plus

  • International experience is a plus
