Financial Executions/Operations
Check the validity of quarterly and monthly sales conditions and if there's a conflict of interests among different sales factors such as budget planning, validity of the amount and ROI (Return on Investment), set adjustment plans
Review work processes such as sales promotion, sales deduction budget, shortages, Sell Out performance, inventory, etc. and N-ERP system management for handling other financial issues that have not been defined
Review actual budget spends and actively communicate with budget owners to control its spending within the approved budget limitations
Liaison with corporate planning/financial planning team
Assist managing financial attributes to avoid monthly closing issues due to wrong financial assessment
Work with PM/Sales teams in building accurate and robust budget plans and executions
Strategic Planning/Analyses
Assisting current Monthly Forecast + 3 Month Forecast, guideline with Product Managers, Carrier/Channel Sales Managers and Supply Chain Management
Assist in communications for Samsung Canada senior management, Corporate Finance team, North America and HQ in Korea
Perform variance analysis and what-if-scenario simulations to identify key variance drivers and provide business insights for financial risks and opportunities for executive management
Actively seek opportunities to introduce new value-adding financial analysis tools for use across division and develop special reporting tools as required by senior executives
Preparation of ad-hoc reports requested by HQ, Corporate Finance and the management
Monthly/Quarterly/Annual TIM Management
Work with SECA Finance to set CMF/MP targets for TIM according to local/HQ targets
Skills and Qualifications
Education:
Minimum bachelor’s degree in business or technical subjects preferred
Knowledge:
Experience:
Prior business modeling experience preferred
5-7 years’ experience in a technology or communication environment preferred
Experience with SAP
Experience in IT, Consumer Electronics and/or Telecommunication industry in strategy, planning or marketing analysis preferred
